Begin your healing journey with our foundational wānanga, offering a safe, grounded space to explore Māori philosophies and the healing practices of Mirimiri and Romiromi.

 

In this immersive experience, you'll:

  • Be guided through the foundational principles of Whare Wānanga Lore and Traditional Māori Healing, including spiritual safety and self-awareness.

  • Learn and gain confidence in delivering a full Romiromi alignment, the essential basis for all advanced healing levels.

  • Experience Mirimiri and Romiromi bodywork grounded in cultural wisdom and infused with intentional alignment.

  • Connect with core teachings such as Whatumanawa, Takutaku, and Mauri  energy flow, supported by pūrākau.

  • Cultivate your Whatumanawa your spiritual heart and intuitive core—to deepen your healing presence.

 

Participants walk away feeling grounded, inspired, and empowered in their practice.

More than just training, this waananga is a journey alongside like-minded whānau—people dedicated to ancestral healing, spiritual alignment, and collective growth. You'll share, practice, and grow together in a nurturing and supportive environment.

For ongoing practice and deeper connection, we also host weekly community clinics, where you can gain hands-on experience and foster relationships within the healing community.

Accommodation

Kokomuka lodge is homely. Think marae styles with your own single bedroom with shared bathrooms. 

Kai

All kai will be provided for the duration of this waananga. Dietary requirements will be catered for, please indicate these in your registration. 

Exchange

$1,150 (Up front payment at time of registration - GST Incl) 

or

$1,380 (Payment plan - GST Incl)

A $500 deposit will need to be paid upfront, at time of registration, to secure your place.

  2. Pay your $500 deposit today with the remaining $880 due by Monday 30th March 2026.
