This is a 10 night waananga that includes accommodation, kai and daily waananga. It is our most intimate waananga with just 10-12 other attendees and will be held in luxury retreat accommodation - Appleby House and Huts overlooking Moturoa/Rabbit Island.
About this Waananga
Join us as the seasons change and delve deep into our 3 Hearts Wananga. Over 10 nights you will develop a deeper understanding and insights of ancient Māori philosophies and traditions and how the alignment of your heart centres can empower you to live a life from heart space in this modern world. By learning more about the three hearts gifted by the Atua (gods), you will have the opportunity to tune into your heart spaces and allow yourself to feel in to them to help transmute energies that may be keeping you in your mind and blocking you from living life in heart space and to your true potential.
Te Manawa...is our physical heart and our true centre. We will explore how our manawa is connected to all aspects of our being that are physical, mental, spiritual and celestial. These connections, vibrations and biorhythms are intimately connected to everything. We will share Takutaku (ancient incantations) that will stimulate and invigorate and replenish your Manawa. Empowering you to live life centred from heart space as opposed to our minds.
Puumanawa...our emotional heart - the Puumanawa is the source of our feelings and emotions. It allows us to feel and experience all we do. Within the Pumanawa every feeling and emotion is relevant, yet many of us have been conditioned not to feel or express emotions. For others their feelings and emotions overwhelm them to the point of being uncontrollable. Our aim is to rebalance our puumanawa to live from a more centred place. This aspect of the waananga we discuss and share takutaku that will allow you to regulate and balance your Puumanawa.
Whatumanawa...is the spiritual Heart/third eye.. by bringing awareness to the Whatumanawa, you will begin to develop or deepen your connection to your own deeper knowing and intuition, as well as strengthen your connection to the celestial realms and unseen dimensions. We will use a Whatumanawa Takutaku and patere to stimulate and strengthen your connection to your Whatumanawa and how it applies to your physical and spiritual being.
When all three hearts are in alignments you experience and unlock the infinite potential you were born with to truly live a life of love and purpose.
As well as daily sharing of Matauranga there will also be a 1-1 heart attunement and activation for each participant. And sound bath journeys to activate the takutaku on a cellular level.
There will be time for self reflection,exploration and movement as well as use of the sauna cold shower immersion and evening around the fire pit.
This waananga will be crafted and shaped around our participants. It offers stimulation and activation to those who have attended waananga before and those that are new to this kaupapa.
Our waananga are all inclusive and are delivered in Te Reo Māori and English.
This will benefit those on their own self healing and self discovery journey as well as those who are currently kaimiri and kairomi, looking to offer their whaiora some deeper insights. These waananga offer a deeper connection to self through an Indigenous Te Ao Māori lens.

19th July: Arrival 10am for an 11.30am start
29th July: Departure 10am
Where: Appleby House and Huts overlooking Moturoa/Rabbit Island - Te Tau Ihu o Te Waka a Maui Marlborough/Nelson Region.
Accommodation
All accommodation is single occupancy (unless a couple). There are two options - Gold & Silver. These prices include accommodation, kai and daily waananga for the entire 10 nights.

Gold - $3,900 per person (couples $3,600 pp)
Ensuite room in house or private hut.
1 Disability access room (please request this on booking if required)
Silver - $3,800 per person
Private Queen bedroom with shared bathroom in house or hut facilities.
Glamping Yurt - 1 available (please request this on booking if preferred)
Kai/Food
All kai/food over the 10 nights is catered.
Breakfast will be a help yourself - with a selection of cereals, fruits, toast, eggs and smoothies available.
Lunch will be served daily.
Dinner will be whanau styles - with some members of the group involved in cooking/preparing dinner/doing dishes each night.
A selection of teas/coffee/herbals and morning/afternoon tea will also be available daily.
**Dietary preferences will be catered for, please mention these in the registration.

SILVER - $3,800 per person
COUPLE GOLD - $3,600 per person ($7,200 per couple)
A $500 deposit is required upon registration to secure your place. Payment can be made using a Credit/Debit card, PayPal account or Bank transfer. A regular monthly payment plan with an invoice can also be arranged.
Additional Information
Waananga is a sacred space so there will be no drugs or alcohol during the 10 nights together.
This will be an intimate, nourishing gathering. The main thing we ask is that all come along with an open heart and an open mind. If you feel called to attend this retreat we do ask you to register below.
